In the wine trade, we capitalize on our continually growing network of contacts with European winemakers and wine merchants as well as on close collaboration with our partners in China, who have several years of experience in the import and marketing of wine on the Chinese market. Coupled with our experience in the import/export transaction of wine businesses, we are able to support European winemakers in successfully distributing their products on the Chinese market. That includes the selection of appropriate products as well as product management, such as in, for example, the adaptation of product presentation for Chinese needs. In addition, we prepare the sales market for European products with special tasting events for Chinese winemakers and consumers.
With our German and Chinese partners, we are planning on opening a chain of wine markets in China and are currently working on the implementation of the first pilot store in Shanghai. This store concept constitutes an innovation on the Chinese market and plans to expand the product range to liquors and beer, too.
